I had some fireplace issue ,I googled and call few places for the broken glass but no one knew how to deal with it... ,that was surprising any ways long story short luckily I call Phil ,he is an amazing person friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and went beyond to help me out . Recently moved into a new home in Durham Region, and I have never owned a gas fire place. I could though identify that... is was not properly maintained by the previous owner. Dirty, smelly, and just didn't seem to work right! I called Phil, and like the Batman of fire place cleaning, he rolled up with his partner, with all the tools you could ever need, and got to work. Respectful in not dirtying up the home while he did the dirty work, he spent 3 hours thoroughly and expertly disassembling, cleaning, and maintaining the unit. It was as if he wrote the book on the subject! Not to my surprise, the fireplace was a mess. Unbeknownst to me, the previous owners children had slid a bunch of CDs inside on the top of the fireplace unit, and the plastic had melted stiff to the metal! Most of his time was spent scraping this hardened rock-like substance off. He did his work with enthusiasm and humor, and we were in awe in how great the fireplace looked afterwards. The fire has become a crown jewel of our home decor. We'll be contacting you for annual maintenance and cleaning, Phil!read more
